8 Ways To Brighten Your Life.
Lately, I’ve been observing people around me, especially adults. I can conclude that many of the ones around me struggle to keep their lives bright and beautiful because of allowing the demands of the modern world to sweep them off their feet. Many of us have become like machines, not allowing our own discerning to shape what we think is most contingent and suitable.
We are humans. We can never be machines. We were not born to receive inputs from the world and let them program us without will, because as you grown and adult, you start to have a unique perception and voice regarding what suits you most.
There are so many ways you can eliminate that machine-like lifestyle and start perceiving the world with an eminent glow that makes you more fulfilled, happy and human. Here are 8 ways I think could make a huge difference to your life. :)
Practice Gratitude
Learn Something New Everyday
Empower your mind with something new to learn. Make time for listening to podcasts, reading books and watching beneficial videos on YouTube. Explore topics you are passionate about and implement what you learn during the day. Learning is one of the best ways to refresh your brain and keep you excited. It could be anything; art, poetry, science, tech, human development. Anything that makes you want to improve yourself.
Walk
Make time to go outside and see the sun. Walk around your building and look up, observe the trees, clouds and sunshine. Feel the wind. Listen to sounds you haven’t heard before. Connect to your surroundings. I promise you a rewarding, refreshing and human sensation of suddenly feeling so close to nature and somehow at home.
Eat More Fruits and Veggies
One way to brighten your life is to brighten your health. Fruits and vegetables have a lot of minerals which are crucial for improving your mood and the energy in your body. As you start eating more plants, your body fluids will become more balanced and electrically charged, leaving you more elevated and full of excitement. Also, it will leave your face with an inevitable glowing youth.
Express Yourself
Find a way to express your existence. We are all talented in something, and this is a way you will be able to mark your way in the world. It could be anything; art, singing, laughing, photography, dancing, videography— just express your energy. Express yourself. Express your heart and what it loves doing. Do not follow stereotypes or the norm and be as creative as possible. There is nothing more fulfilling than feeling authentic and honest to yourself.
Take Pictures
Taking pictures is the best way to observe beauty around you. Photograph people, nature, landscapes and even yourself. Photographs have this beautiful way to show that something is meaningful, and if you actively do so, you’ll find yourself always chasing beauty and significance in every moment that is worth a capture.
Surround Yourself With Plants
The colour green is equivalent to the energy wavelength your heart beats create (proven by science), thus, being around it more will make you feel more hopeful, compassionate and loving. If you do not live close to a garden, plant a small basil pot and put it in your balcony or window. You could also buy yourself a small desk-plant and have it in your room to add more life and colour.
Share Your Love
Finally, have that one person you could always talk to. A person whom you love so dearly and unconditionally, someone you bond to on a deeper level and brings you joy. Talk to that person and tell him or her about your day. Talk about your dreams. Ask for help. Show your love and gratitude for their love and support. There is no more warming way to brighten your life than to make room for love.
So, those are eight things you can do to enrich your life, make it more personal and creative. I initially would have liked to write a 100 ways, but those are the simplest and most rewarding of all. I really encourage you all to take responsibility of your own happiness because there is nothing more fulfilling than a life lived with unconditional joy and endless streams of gratitude.
Sending love your way. :)
