Health is Simplicity.

The modern lifestyle shifts away our natural instincts into bustling stereotypes and prejudices, taking our own bodies away from us and judging them from a third side that typically looks like a model runway show. Cameras, comments and criticism. Yes, we took our bodies there.

One simple fact we need to discern is that each body is distinct. Each body is biologically different from the other. All the minor genetic variations have a huge impact on our metabolism and therefore, our health mechanism. Our bodies are enchanting, and they are surprisingly able to heal themselves and cope with our sabotaging modern environment. However, when we disconnect it from its basic necessities, it runs out of energy, balance and control. We see the mess earlier than anyone ever did. Diseases are haphazard and no longer stratified according to age. We aren't autotrophic and our bodies aren't self-sufficient, we were born this environment to achieve interdependance.

So, these are some basic ways to manifest your body into its healthy balance.

1. Disconnect from stereotypes-- what i mean by that is escape from the runway show, don't fool your mind and give it the power to criticise something out of its control. If you follow instagram, facebook and twitter accounts that promote images of perfection, disconnect. Limit the use of technology in that manner. Face anyone who gives you comments about how you look or your weight or your fashion taste, tell them that you'd rather not speak about it and politely request changing the subject. It will change you. Forget those days when you bloomed with blithe when someone commented on how slim you look. You are different now. Slim is no longer a margin of beauty. Health and wellness is.
2. Water-- Water is one force in our body that moves us. It moves our contents; our blood, nutrients and wastes. Drinking less water increases the friction and disrupts the balance, your cells wilt and lose freshness and so does your brain. Drink 8 cups. Thats basic. No discussion. Keep a water bottle with you at all times and drink drink drink. Refill. Keep the currents in your body vigorous and lively.
3. Carbohydrates-- one major food group needed by our body greatly. Carbohydrates are the source of glucose which generates energy needed to pump your heart, renew your skin and think. If you are overweight, you are already past the fact that you need energy, you have too much. Start from scratch then, wake up in the morning and plan your diet today with a balanced manner. Eat real carbohydrates, not refined flour and sugars. Some of these are brown whole grain bread, rice, oats, corn, honey, fruits and vegetables. Distribute those foods on your meals considerably, where they fill half your plate (including the veggies). If you want to lose weight, go unto the next step.
4. Proteins-- Proteins mean muscles, hormones, hair, skin and enzymes. Not eating enough proteins causes you to replace muscles with fat, hormonal imbalance and a ruined metabolism. To save yourself, eat legumes, organic chicken, meat and fish and dairy products wisely. Protein-based foods are often packed with healthy carbohydrates too, so if you are struggling to lose weight, eat proteins and let go of carbohydrates for a while (exclude fruits and vegetables). Fill your plate with proteins, they dont cause problems unless you have kidney complications.
5. Fats-- Fats are beneficial. They are amazing. They make up the lining of our cells, protect our organs, insulate us during winter (if you're underweight, you'd understand how important that is) and keep our skin and hair radiant. Eat avocadoes, coconuts, a wise portion of nuts, and OIL! Oil is pretty healthy and simple.. coconut, olive, sunflower, cottonseed.. They have miraculous effects on your body. Even if you are overweight, fats should be eaten moderately. They are needed in places so microscopic that you can't recognise how necessary they are.
6. Vitamins-- DON'T STOP! Vitamins are the joy and bliss metabolised by our bodies. They are like happy children dancing in our system. If you want vitamins, eat all the veggies and fruits you want. Save a sacred proportion of your meal for carrots, courgettes, cucumbers, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, bell peppers.. they really do make you feel when you eat enough of them, and they are so healthy. They are essential in almost everything. Skin, hair, metabolism, gut health, brain... Make sure to intake all types of vitamins, for example, vitamin B which is present in meat and liver. There comes the balance.
7. Minerals-- Minerals are like tiny guards that make sure everything happens in our body. They are like nice bosses that give consent for metabolic pathways to occur. Again, load your meals with lots of veggies and fruits. Drink water to dissolve them.
8. Herbs-- they are the spices of our organisms, boosting us with radiance as they are full of simple elements that fill in the spaces of our metabolic pathways. Indulge in rosemary tea, anise, fennel seeds, cinammon, cumin, ginger and turmeric. They are beautifully alluring.
9. Sleep-- no matter how stuffed your schedule is, have at least seven hours of deep sleep. Try to sleep early and wake up early too, early birds are happy, aren't they? You will find yourself with flushing energy the next day, and automatically you will feel tired at a considerable hour of the evening. Organise your time and your to do lists accordingly to your body needs.

Our bodies will not turn into slaves for our destructive routines, we should respect and cherish our nature and leave it to take its course. Love your organism, it will love you back. :)
