Translating Dreams.
I wasn't that lucky when I was younger when it came to wishes and dreams since all of my materialistic childish desires were nipped away from me right before my eyes. To illustrate, I would spend a few months fantasising about a new phone and when I would get finally get it as a gift, it would not work and then I would end up in grave disappointment.
Since then, I learned not to set my heart on those kind of wishes because they were usually too far-fetched and vulnerable to changes in circumstance, they were too controlled by factors other than mine. So, I ended up heading towards dreams of success, helping the world, building a good family and perhaps, an affluent career. Those kind of dreams kept me going even though they were also shaped by the common life instabilities. Yet, they were things that belonged to me, dreams based on my own decisions, built upon opportunities only tailored for myself. Nowadays, I spend all of my morning runs dreaming of my future, and conjuring up blissful moments I would like to encounter one day, and they all send thrills down my spine, fill my day with motivating joy to keep me going and working towards them.
One of the best moments in my life, to have kindred spirits celebrating success. :)
I must say that two of those dreams have already come true, and they were all ideated during my morning runs. One was achieving the outstanding learner award in sociology and the other was travelling alone to Poland. Well, they didn't come true exactly as I imagined them, but they at least did, and everything turned out even more splendidly and in times of longing and need.
All what I'm trying to say that, dreams do come true, eventually. Just as an ambition crosses your mind, be sure you know that it was visualised for a reason, to connect with your intuition in a way or another by sparking plans, motives and goals. However, we must be aware that our dreams are only instruments we choose to play while alive, but they do not have to be the ones we appeal to the most. One dream opens up gates to another, to another realm of opportunities, success and failures. The most essential thing would be an awareness to allow us to listen to the music we make everyday, through the visions we have in our minds and the accompanied bliss and longing in our souls.
If you are a dreamer, you must consider yourself a lucky one. Because as long as you have an imagination spread out wide to position yourself in various places and situations, you'll get there eventually, because you had already ventured the hope and beauty following those moments of unearthliness. Keep on dreaming and appreciating it, until you find them translated before you. Just make sure you understand what they are trying to teach you. :)
