In Terms Of Dreams.

I caught you.

I caught you overthinking, analysing and connecting those far-apart dots of your life.

I caught you feeling lost, scared and anxious about your future.

I caught you not knowing where you’re going.

You’re not alone, trying to make sense of your life. In fact, at one point, all of us experience this uncertainty. Those thoughts may visit us every few days or weeks and they leave us with this draining discomfort.

But I caught you thinking that way every single day and let’s face it, it’s not doing you any good. This fear and nervousness regarding your future is not exactly uplifting you or making you focused on the present moment. It’s distracting, unsettling and even.. depressing.

The light, at this very uncertain moment, is your dream. That dream of who you want to be in the future; your personality, the clothes you’d wear, the way you’d speak, the work you’d do, the friends you would have and the place you find yourself so drawn to. That ideal future self, who is so whole, fulfilled and at peace with how things are. That person who lives each day purposefully and with passion, surrounded by loving, supportive people who care. That person who seeks authentic and honest relationships with others, the one who strives for excellence at work, the one who never stops learning and exploring.

Have you figured it out? We spend most of our time predicting the future based on what we already know. We may analyse our parents’ lives and ascribe them to ours, we make meaning to the current circumstances and allow them to manoeuvre the possibilities, when in reality, the past is not capable of defining the future. Do you realise that those feelings of uncertainty and anxiety have risen from the idea that you can’t find adequate information to construct your future? But the future doesn’t exist here. It exists in the realm of infinite possibilities that are randomly assigned to occur at any one point or another. There is no way you can predict what could happen to you.

So don’t spend time trying to find those answers. Instead, dream of them.

Dreaming of our futures constantly makes us feel safe. It empowers us to believe that we are in control and truly responsible for how things are meant to be. Those moments you spend dreaming leave you feeling elevated, optimistic and inspired, filling you with so much hope and energy to the extent that it changes you. It changes your thoughts, mindset and consequently, your attitude and behaviour. You start doing things in the name of love and faith in that future life you have created in your mind. That vivid picture feels so real that it inspires warm, positive emotions that makes you want to do things with intention, allowing you to actually plunge into new possibilities. It makes that better version of yourself be noticed, opening doors for new opportunities leading to success and greatness.

This energy that those dreams leave you with is what matters. It creates miracles. It leaves you with so much positivity that allows you to think of solutions to any setbacks which may rise on the pathway to your goals. It makes you grateful for being alive to spend time dreaming and creating your vision. It makes you self-directed, driven and ambitious. It’s an energy which is unstoppable and ever so beautiful and inspiring.

This is where motivation comes from. This is how you grow determination and direction towards what you really want. This is how you set your priorities straight and attract fulfillment in your life. Thus, no matter how much everything is uncertain, you are aware that a vision exists and you’re being that person to accomplish it. You know it’s hidden somewhere for you and you’re looking out for opportunities to make it happen.

I personally have realised so many of my dreams just being so clear about them. There were dreams which I envisioned so clearly that they came true in the most beautiful ways. I would then spend some time after realising them in deep awe, with tears in my eyes, thinking of how magical life truly is. Since then, I’ve never stopped dreaming, and my dreams are gaining precision, impact and scale everyday, because my intentions are pure and designated to create value and inspire others to reach their potential while treading their own unique paths. I know I’m going to reach them. I don’t know when or how, but I know that the person I am today is making them come to life.

Think of the future in terms of dreams. Live your day as if it were a part of a dream and your mind will take you there. The universe will take your hand and make you go through all that you need in order to be that best version of yourself, who would truly embrace this beautiful future life with purity and gratitude.

It’s never too late to start dreaming again. Don’t let anything stop you from being the creator of your own life.

It’s yours— that dream, it’s yours.

Own it.
