Manifesting Your Visions.
Greetings, my loved ones. Today, I want to write about miracles.
Yes, miracles.
The miracle of a dream coming true.
Do not worry, it's not as abstract. I actually have a story in regards to that. My journey started in January 2017, when I was still in my first year of university, disliking the torpidity and lack of things to do. For a restless person, having to just study and go for lectures every now and then did not appeal to me. I wanted something more, something deeper and more challenging. On the first day of 2017, I told God that I really want to work and do something meaningful. I asked Him to give me a chance to experiment and discover what it's like to be out there. Very abruptly, I was granted an award for attaining the highest grade in Egypt in my Biology A Level course, which gave me the opportunity to work with my old Biology teacher as her assistant, and then it all rolled around to work in a school as an English language co-teacher.
It's a small, insignificant story, I know, but it was significant for an 18-year-old dreamer who was still realising the magic of the world. Since then, I never stopped setting intentions, I never stopped dreaming of doing purposeful things and experiencing challenges to grow and add value in whatever route I was on. God was always listening, and He miraculously shaped up reality to fit those dreams, which I find surreal and difficult to comprehend.
Since then, my life had been inscrutable.
I am writing this because I want you to believe that once you start visualising your dream life, clinging onto every single detail and carving it into shapes of reality, those visions can be possible. I do not have an explanation. I do not know how this happens, but all I can say is that it is real. Of course, those dreams bring with them tribulations, challenges and steps outside of your comfort zone. Those dreams will make you face parts of you which don't serve your purpose and you'll have to shed those layers to greet the new person that will make those dreams come true. It brings pain, it brings sorrow and loneliness, but it's worthwhile. It's inevitably leading somewhere.
I am writing this to propel and encourage you to make up your own dreams and visions of what you want your future to be. It's okay if they are naive at first. It's okay if all what you're dreaming of is having this new pair of shoes, perfect skin or health. Just visualise it. Attract that bigger picture in your head and stay for some time alone thinking of how it would be like to actually be there. After this time spent alone, in your head, dreaming, you will not be the same. You will wake up the next morning knowing that there is something out there that you could do to make this dream coming true; perhaps save up more money for this pair of shoes, or drink lemon water for better skin.. it could be anything. In my case, it was actually looking after self-growth and authenticity. After each dream, I knew there was a part of me yearning to be more authentic and real, and I chased that. I chased this genuine existence that could enable me to express whatever is in my head.
Of course, it's not just pure magic. There is an element of persistent hard work embedded in the whole process. Things won't work out if an opportunity faces you and you don't do anything about it. I'm saying this because we hear people telling us that we can't just wait for things to happen, but sometimes we have to. We can spend this time getting ready with our vision and dreams. The more this works, the more you shall be aware of the complexity of your purpose and will align to what suits you more.
Still, life happens. Sadness, loss and confusion strike. But God is with you, He is the one who planned those happenings for you. From my experience, I can say that sadness and loss happen when a part of you is ready to shed. When you are going to seemingly face a new identity that will support your growth. And because you don't know what is going on, it is confusing and depressing. But time will unravel so much.
You'll see.
You'll see.
However, keep those dreams. Watch them change and evolve as you do. I remember always dreaming of love and being attached to the fact that being around family would bring me happiness and I was always living that dream in my head. However, I have changed. I am no longer attached to that. I dream of bigger things which make more sense, and those, too, shall change one day.
Now, I want to share with you my new vision. My vision is solely attracting abundance, creating a community of people who are moving towards self-growth and become a successful educator, a holistic-living advocate and supporter of the environment. I am aware that this vision requires so much and my challenge here is to deconstruct actionable steps that I can execute upon every single day. That means that while I am writing this post, I am doing something that is serving that vision. As I drink water and eat, I am serving the dream of being youthfully healthy. As I interact with the ones around me with assertiveness, boundaries, empathy and kindness, I am becoming the person I would like to be in the future in order to lead and inspire others to help them perceive the world in a richer way. I will need strength of character to do that.
This is all I have to say for now. I dearly hope that this post inspired you to visualise your future and design the life that you believe is beautiful. I do hope that you find God's presence within you because He listens. This is the most beautiful thing, God listens.
